COVID-19 LOCKDOWN; OGBUAGU TOURS 10 WARDS IN NKWERRE LGA, DISTRIBUTES RELIEF MATERIALS

Hon. Nze Franklin E. Iwunze (Ogbuagu I of Nkwerre), the Nkwerre state constituency APC House of Assembly candidate in the 2019 general election last Saturday distributed food items and relief materials to the poor and vulnerable people in all the 10 political wards in Nkwerre LGA to cushion the effects of Coronavirus pandemic on people.

In his address, Ogbuagu who used the opportunity to salute the state government on its commendable effort in the campaign against contracting and spreading of the disease in the state appealed to the people of Nkwerre to continue to observe safety measures by washing of hands with soap regularly, maintaining social distancing among other directives.

He further admonished the people not to panic as professionals are working round the clock to bring a lasting end to the disease. The young philanthropist hinted that while the efforts are on top gear to sanitize the state against the disease which necessitated the stay-at-home order, it’s prominent and worth doing to remember the poor masses who may not afford daily meal.

One of the beneficiaries who simply gave her name as Madam Comfort from Onusa Nkwerre Ward 1 commended Nze Franklin for having the feelings of his people at heart and therefore prayed God to bless him and answer his secret prayers.
